ResearcherID and Scopus Author ID
Next, we’ll look at two other researcher identifiers:

- Scopus Author ID
ResearcherID
Creating a ResearcherID allows you to claim and showcase your publications in Web of Science on the Publons platform. ResearcherID allows you to manage publication lists, track citation counts and calculate your h-index. You can also link your ResearcherID to your ORCID profile. Publons also allows you to verify and add to your profile any reviews you have undertaken for journals or conferences.
Scopus Author ID
Your Scopus Author ID is created automatically when your first publication is indexed in Scopus. It allows you to see a list of your publications and view citation metrics such as h-index, citation counts and co-authors. The Scopus Author ID can also be linked to your ORCID profile. Later in this module we will explain how to do this.
