Using EndNote and Word to prepare a journal manuscript

When you are preparing a manuscript to submit to a journal it is likely that journal will have a referencing style that you need to adhere to.

Many journals produce their own EndNote referencing style that can be downloaded into your EndNote library to use while writing the manuscript. Often these are available in the information to authors on the journal’s website. Many styles are also available to download in EndNotes’ Output Styles.

Another alternative could be to edit an existing style to the format required. Further information on editing styles is available in the EndNote library guide.
