Researching your literature review

Hi my name is Pauline and I’m one of the liaison librarians at RMIT University Library.

Welcome to this online module on researching your literature review. This module will introduce you to the main reasons for undertaking a literature review and suggested resources to use such as library databases, Google Scholar, the research repository and LibrarySearch. We will show you how to find different types of information using these suggested resources. The types of information we look at include journal articles, books, statistics, industry reports, theses and more.

There are learning activities throughout this module to help you with some practical searching.

This module should take you about 30 minutes to complete.

You may also be interested in viewing the following webinar, recorded from the Library’s ‘PhD Up!’ program, which complements this online module:

Please take a moment to complete the feedback to let us know how we may improve this module in the future.
